Norway seems to have a varied industrial and techno scene at the moment, with bands like this one here: REMYL. They recently put out their latest CD, RML 1, and were also featured on the great compilation CD, The Reincarnation Of The Sun, which saw the light earlier in 1994. The band are now looking to release a video and a new CD later in '94.
Aborted PrincipalsDefine your music please...REMYL
* We have our own definition, "Cyber-trash-tech-synth-punkscapes". Allthough electronic/industrial might give those who never have heard our music, a clue.Aborted Principals

What's your opinion on todays industrial / techno scene then?REMYL
* There is lot of positive things happening in the industrial genre - spanning from guitar-based-industrial towards experimenting soundscapes created with various electronics, and sometimes, somewhere on the way some of this gets defined as some kind of techno. But nowdays it sems like the word "techno" is mostly being abused by the comercial forces of the music industry to make money, like the DANCE hysteria. It has all gone crazy...Aborted Principals
How do public media and labels react to your music ?REMYL
* Public media and labels never reacts, mostly. Probably because we never vined, dined, and licked their backs to get their attention to our CD. We have recived a lot of positivie words from various underground contacts.Aborted Principals
In what direction do you think your music in specific/the genre will develop ?REMYL
* Our music will, hopefully, develop further towards the limitations of our creativity and the technology available. Hopefully more high-tech will end up as trash-tech giving us the posibility to include it into our electro-lab. Regarding the genre, who knows?
